It is because of our Men and Women in uniform that we can enjoy this day in freedom.

As a friend of mine who retired from the Marines told me this morning: 

“All those people bitching about spending $3.89 a gallon on gas while going out of town for the weekend, should sit their asses down one minute and think what this day really is about!”.

On that note I would like to honor all the fathers in the military that have daughters they are leaving at home!
